TEV tools help make it easier to vote
Texas Educators Vote (TEV) is all about making it easier to be an informed and engaged voter, which is especially important since Texas often tries to make it harder, not easier to vote. Don’t worry. We have tools to help you navigate these murky waters! Your vote is your right, your responsibility, and it is more important than ever. Early voting for the November 3rd election starts on October 13th, only 10 weeks from now. This week, make sure you are using all the TEV tools we set up to help you be civically engaged and cast your vote. These include the TEV website, social media accounts, and voting reminder texts.
To do:
- Bookmark the Texas Educators Vote website which has easy links to apply to register, research candidates, and vote. It also has lots more helpful information and links so check it out and bookmark it now.
- The Texas Educators Vote Facebook page is where we post voting-related graphics and images, articles, key dates and links, and reminders to vote. “Like us” now and invite your friends and co-workers to do the same.
- The TxEdVote Twitter feed has much of the same information with super short intros that are easy to share. Go follow TxEdVote!
- TEV’s Instagram presence is growing! Join us there and we promise to post graphics you will want to share.
- Text TXEDVOTE to 40649 or sign up here to get important voting text reminders.
Get ready now! Texas kids are counting on you to be their voice at the polls.
Thank you,
Laura Yeager
